Nick Radford (26) grew up in Salisbury and now runs a renewable energy business. He lives in the city centre with his partner, Eeva, who is an immunologist. Nick attended Bemerton St John's Primary School, Salisbury Cathedral School and Bryanston School. He then went to Oxford University to read Biological Sciences.

In 2007 joined a Salisbury-based startup company, installing solar heating systems for domestic customers. He has since trained as an electrician and has set up his own renewable energy business which specialises in solar PV technology.

While in Oxford, Nick helped the local MP with community casework. He gained a practical understanding of the problems people face, learnt the role of a local political representative and became further inspired to be politically active.

Nick is a keen sportsman and while at school in Salisbury he played rugby for Salisbury Rugby Club. He went on to run for the Oxford University Blues Athletics team. He now regularly runs charity races, including the British 10k each year to raise funds for the Salisbury Hospicecare. He also enjoys cooking and has a love of everything outdoors.

Nick spends as much time as he can with his family, who also live locally, his father runs a local restaurant, his mother is a retired nurse and his sister is a makeup artist.
