Alan Bayliss

Alan has lived in Salisbury since 2009, initially in Bishopdown and now in the St. Francis area. He has worked in IT for more than twenty years, and is currently a solution architect designing large business systems.

He has a passion for sport in the community, volunteering as a coach, technical official and committee member of Salisbury's triathlon club and as secretary of Triathlon England's south west region. He has also represented Great Britain as an age group athlete.

Alan stood as a candidate for the city council elections in 2017 and has subsequently worked as a volunteer in both european and general election campaigns.

Alan studied mechanical and aeronautical engineering as an undergraduate and has a BSc from the University of Hertfordshire.
